At Future Link, we know that backup storage is critical when it comes to protecting your business data.
While we happily endeavor to meet your business needs every day by providing quality IT support, internet service, data management and software solutions, we’ve noticed that there’s one backup category that takes up an extraordinary amount of storage – and we are running out of room.
Therefore, it is with heavy hearts that we announce that, even though they make great office watercooler conversation, we can no longer store your pet videos.
Please believe us when we say we are as saddened about this as you are. We know how funny it was when Mr. Whiskers went after that laser light for the seventh time and jumped halfway up the wall to pounce on it.
Or when Toto wouldn’t stop barking at the balloon in your living room. (It WAS suspicious, Toto; we’re on your side!)
Oh, and that side-splitting moment when Buzz’s tarantula went missing amidst the chaos of that trashed room? (No, wait. That was Home Alone.)
We understand the logic behind uploading this precious data safely and securely with Future Link’s disaster prevention backups. (Pet videos are an instant pick-me-up when you’ve got a case of the Mondays). But there are so many that we can no longer support the data load. From here on out, we suggest uploading the videos to YouTube and emailing everyone in your company a link to enjoy.
Please accept our sincerest apologies. To compensate for this, we’d like to make a special, limited-time offer: Now, when you buy any hardware from us, we’ll throw in a mouse for free. These mice may be more furry than they are functional or sleek, but you’ll be able to experience animal antics whenever you need a laugh, in real time.
We thank you for allowing us to be your trusted experts in IT and look forward to supporting all your data needs. (Minus the pet videos. Sorry, Mr. Whiskers).
p.s. April Fool’s! We won’t be giving any live mice away. But, no kidding: Are pet videos (or ancient document files) eating up all your storage? Maybe it’s time to consider off-site backups. Click here to schedule a call with one of our experts.
